3rd EAC Regional E-Health & Telemedicine Workshop, Ministerial Conference And Trade Exhibition

The 3rd EAC E-Health and Telemedicine Conference, organised by East African Science and Technology Commission (EASTECO) will be a Hybrid event, from 16-17 June 2021.  The theme is Embracing Digital Technologies to foster innovations in Healthcare for the Wellbeing of East Africans.The hybrid conference will also follow-up on the implementation of the resolutions of the second workshop held in 2019.  The meeting will also introduce EAC public and private sector decision-makers to solutions that will enable the improvement of healthcare infrastructure and delivery through the use of ICTs.

EASTECO was established as a semi-autonomous institution of the East African Community (EAC) at the 5th Extraordinary Summit of the EAC Heads of State held on 18th June 2007. Its overall objective is to promote and co-ordinate the development, management and application of science and technology for regional integration and socio-economic development.
