Edwin Mulwa is currently the Director and Team Lead, Digital Solutions at VillageReach. In this role, Edwin leads a global team that is responsible for a portfolio of digital health innovations including digital supply chains, health hotlines, EIRs, sample referral systems, and other patient-centered, technology-enabled healthcare delivery solutions that VillageReach co-creates and implements with governments and other strategic partners. He also plays a key role in developing and maintaining working relationships with partners and vendors, especially technology platform providers across a spectrum of software global goods, commercial platforms, and Africa-based technology providers. Edwin has vast experience working on several highly visible mission support programs in overseas consultancies as well as supporting healthcare technology solution delivery in both the public and private sectors. Before joining VillageReach, Edwin spent over 26 years in the healthcare, science research, micro finance, and education sectors. Edwin is a member of the Kenya Health Informatics Association (KeHIA), has an HND in Computer Science from the Technical University of Mombasa and has earned several Global Health related professional certifications from the University of Washington.
