Dr. Patrick Luwaga has a career of 38 years that includes being actively involved in the development of the Private health Sector, including 10 Years of Medical Practice in the Middle East, 28 years of clinical practice and management of health facilities including managing a local and global network of affiliated healthcare facilities, 8 years as Deputy Medical Director and Clinical director of the 2nd largest hospital in Uganda.

Dr Luwaga is a founder member and current chair of Uganda Healthcare Federation(UHF), also a founder member and chairman of the HMO Association and member of the National Health Insurance Task Force.
